Howdy, wine drinker.

I’m Jacob from I Want You to Drink More Wine.

In today’s video, I’ll be sharing an honest wine review and suggesting a pairing that complements this wine perfectly.

Today, we’ve got a nice, classic Italian dish and a nice Italian wine.

Have you ever had Trebbiano?

If not, you’re going to today.

Let’s go ahead and check out our wine.

Mulasco Trebbiano d’Abruzzo 2016

I’ve got a 2016 Mulasco.

This is a Trebbiano d’Abruzzo.

So this is going to be out of central Italy.

And this is a nice, fresh, simple white Italian wine.

I think it’s going to go really nicely with this classic Italian dish we got for you.

Let’s go ahead and check out this dish.

Antipasto Salad

So we’ve got a lot going on here.

We’ve got a antipasto–simple Italian dish, a lot of goodness mixed in.

Not a very complex–excuse me, let me say a complicated dish.

It is very complex.

We’ve got salami, fresh mozzarella.

We’ve got olives, tomato, artichoke, red peppers–deliciousness–all in this little antipasto.

Let’s go ahead, give this wine a swig, see how it goes with our pairing today.

And hopefully–and I believe it’s going to be delicious.

I can smell that red wine vinegar and the olive oil.

Oh, such a good Italian dish.

Let’s give it a ring.

So I overpoured a little bit, but the cool, crispness of this wine is just–oh, if you’re drinking it on a hot day, just smelling the aromas and feeling the coolness, how cold the glass is, just makes your temperature, or the degrees around you, drop by 10 degrees.

It’s a nice, refreshing wine.

Oh, yeah.

Not much to it.

Nice acidity, relaxed wine, smooth.

I think it’s going to go nicely with this pairing we’ve got.

Let’s give it a try.

Mmm, so good.

It’s delicious.

Mm.

Moment of truth–spot on.

Give It a Try!

Easy, simple, gotta try this.

Go ahead.

Get that antipasto pairing right up there.

Let me know what you think about that.

And don’t forget to try it with this Mulasco Trebbiano d’Abruzzo 2016 out of central Italy.

I think the specific region, or the location, is Casalbordino, Italy.

Phenomenal wine.

Vivino has it.

However, it looks like their data is incorrect on it.

They’re saying it’s a red wine, which it’s not.

It’s a white wine.

And the ratings I’m not going to go by.

It says 3.3, but I don’t think those are accurate, based on the varietal that they have selected.

But go ahead.

Check out this wine.

Let’s see if there’s multiple buying options.

I don’t really see where they have the buying options for this.

Trust your instinct.

Look this up.

Here’s another check-out of the wine bottle.

Make sure to get that down.

And reach out to me.

Let me know what you think.

And until our next video, take care.
