Howdy, wine drinker.

I’m Jacob from I Want You to Drink More Wine.

In today’s video, I’ll be sharing an honest wine review and suggesting a pairing that complements this wine perfectly.

Today, we’ve got a fun holiday pairing for you.

We’ve got some sugar cookies and a sparkling wine.

Let’s go ahead and check out this wine.

De Stefani Prosecco Frizzante N.V.

We’ve got something a little different today.

We’ve got a Prosecco, but it’s got a neat little top.

Going to pop this open, have this nice little sparkling, and see how it goes with the sugar cookie pairing we have for you.

This is a De Stefani.

This is an Italian Prosecco.

And this is called col fondo, which is like the original production way to make this sparkling Prosecco using glera grapes, the great varietal.

And then Frizzante–I believe it’s pronounced–this means slightly sparkling in Italian.

So pretty cool wine.

Love the wine bottle.

Easy Sugar Cookies

I think this Prosecco is going to go nicely with this.

Mm, mm, mm.

Buttery, fatty.

From a wine perspective, yeah, it’s a sweet sugar cookie.

But we’re looking for this Prosecco with the acidity to cut through this, cleanse your palate, but have a nice delicious sugar cookie pairing.

Let’s go ahead, crack this bottle open, and see how it goes.

So one thing I want to let you know about is this pop top’s a little tricky to get off.

It looks like it may be a screw, but it’s not.

Get in there with a nice popper, give it a couple cranks, and you should be good to go.

See how it goes.

Look at those little bubbles.

I don’t know if you could see that.

I love a good sparkling.

And with a dessert, with a treat, can’t beat that.

The acidity is strong.

High acidity.

11% alcohol, so it’s good.

Let’s see how it goes.

So crunchy.

I’m making a mess.

Nice sweet little holiday pairing for you.

Look at that color in that wine, too.

Very good.

Go ahead, get that sugar cookie pairing, right up there, that recipe.

And if you’re going to try this De Stefani Prosecco col fondo Frizzante, 3.8 on Vivino.

Average price–$29.78.

Sparkling from Italy.

Give it a try.

Try this pairing.

Try the wine.

Let me know what you think.

And until our next video, take care.
