Howdy, wine drinker.
I’m Jacob from I Want You to Drink More Wine.
In today’s video I’ll be sharing an honest wine review, and suggesting a pairing that complements this wine perfectly.
Guess what on deck, surprise, surprise, we’ve got a snackaroo pairing today.
Let’s go ahead and check out our wine.
Sobon Estate Fiddletown Zinfandel 2015
We’ve got a 2015 Zinfandel.
This is going to be out of Fiddledtown, California.
And I think it’s going to go really, really, really delicious with this snackaroo pairing that we have, this Sobon Estate Zin.
I don’t know about you, but I really recently started getting into Zinfandel.
I have some friends, some old colleagues of mine that are big in Zinfandel.
Not really a big fan in the beginning, but I really enjoy it now.
And let’s go ahead see how that goes with this snackaroo.
So we did a little twist on a classic, nachos.
But we did a bison nacho pairing today.
This is going to have some beans, delicious ground bison, tomatoes, varying of cheeses, and some crunchy chips.
I don’t know about you, but I love nachos, and this is prime time nacho time.
If you’re big in a sports, or if you’re not, nachos are so good.
What a great snackaroo.
Let’s give this pairing a swig.
Well, I’ll swing the wine first.
OK, so my initial reaction with the Sobon Estate Zinfandel is high alcohol, 15%, I believe.
You can feel it right in your throat.
Oh wow, 15.5% alcohol.
So you’re going to feel it here.
And you know where else you’re going to feel it.
I think I would let it open up a little more.
But I can see how it’s going to balance nicely with this bison.
Now the key to this pairing is the bison.
The bison is going to make all the flavors of the wine, and everything else that’s going on in here, the bison is going to be the main attribute to this pairing that makes it go well with the Zinfandel.
Got a nice chunk on there.
So like I said, top notch snackaroo, good pairing, that bison nachos, and Sobon Estate 2015 Zinfandel top notch pairing.
And if you’re going to try this Sobon Estate Fiddletown, US, which is in California, 2015, Vivino says 3.9.
I would have to agree I would bump it up a little bit, as usual, with the pairing.
The pairing match is top notch, as I already said, perfect.
Average price, 19.99.
Go ahead, give this a try.
Let me know what you think.
And until our next video, take care.
