Howdy, wine drinker.

I’m Jacob from I Want You to Drink More Wine.

In today’s video, I’ll be sharing an honest wine review, and suggesting a pairing that complements this wine perfectly.

Today we’ve got an interesting twist on a classic dish.

We’ve got an Italian red and some pizza.

But it’s not your ordinary pizza.

Let’s go ahead and check out our wine.

Bolla Chianti 2016

We’ve got a magnum here for you, Bolla Chianti, Sangiovese based wine, out of Chianti, Italy.

This is going to be a 1.5 liter.

I couldn’t find a standard size, but for the price of this, I thought it was a great inexpensive wine.

Good quality, that’s going to go nicely with this pairing we have for you.

Let’s go ahead and check out this pairing.

Almond Milk Cheese and Cauliflower Crust Pizza

So I’ve got here, pizza.

But not your ordinary pizza.

We’ve got Trader Joe’s cauliflower crusted pizza with almond milk cheese.

So sort of vegan, generally healthy.

We’ve got a standard tomato base on there.

I think that’s going to be the nice structure that’s going to go nicely with this Chianti, this Sangiovese based wine.

Simple pairing, inexpensive.

I believe this cauliflower pizza’s about $4.99 at Trader Joe’s.

Same with the almond milk cheese, not expensive.

Let’s go ahead and see how it goes together.

So I’m a big fan of Chianti Sangiovese based wines, especially when it comes to food.

I feel like they’re food wines, easy to drink, delicious.

To me, Sangiovese is like the Italian brother or sister of Tempranillo.

Delicious wine, I could drink this all day.

Let’s see how it goes with this pizza.

So I’ve got myself a nice little slice here.

So good, top notch.

Easy pairing, you have to try this.

Simple, inexpensive, delicious.

Go ahead get that Bolla.

Right up there, Vivino’s got it.

3.6 rating?

I’d bump it to four with this pairing.

Bolla Chianti, 2016.

I don’t even know if I mentioned that before.

2016 out of Chianti, Italy.

Average price for a standard sized bottle is $9.99.

I picked this up, regular price for this magnum, $15.99.

I think I got it on sale, $13.99.

Go ahead, get it again there.

And if you’re going to get this Trader Joe’s cauliflower crusted pizza, check out that Trader Joe’s cauliflower pizza crust, right up there.

A little bit of a tongue twister.

Let me know what you think.

And until our next video, take care.
