Video Transcription

Howdy, wine drinker.

I’m Jacob from I Want You to Drink More Wine.

Today I’ll be sharing an honest wine review and suggesting a pairing that complements this wine–perfect.

Today’s pairing, I’m excited.

I’m stoked, because this is going to be a nice summer pairing.

You know what, let’s jump right in.

Let’s go ahead, check out our wine, and try this.

Mezzacorona Rosé Dolomiti 2017

We’ve got a 2017 Mezzacorona Rosé.

This is a Dolomiti from Dolomiti, Italy.

And this is going to be a nice, they would say, Rosato.

We got a nice rosé for us to try.

And I like this one.

The color is really–it’s just a cool little bottle here.

One thing I forgot to mention this is sustainably farmed, hand-picked, and you could see a little guy in gold there.

I don’t know.

Let’s check out our pairing, and then we’ll give it a try.

Triple-Decker Baked Italian Cheese Sandwiches

We’ve got triple-decker baked Italian cheese sandwiches.

And we went a little overboard on these.

They are looking good.

I don’t know about you, but I really like baked cheese, you know when it gets really crispy, and the flavor is just neat.

I don’t know where you can get that anywhere else–nachos, maybe.

Let’s go ahead and try this.

We’re going to give this rosé a swig.

Now this–where does it say the alcohol?

It doesn’t.

Where is the alcohol on this?

Oh, here it is, it’s white letters.

12% alcohol, that makes sense.

I don’t really feel much, but the acidity on this is real.

And I think it’s going to go nicely with this triple-decker Italian baked cheese sandwich.

Look at this thing.

It’s got tomatoes that were baked for about an hour and 45 minutes to two hours.

You have thyme on them.

We’ve got Parmesan, fontina, provolone.

So good.

Wow.

The tomato flavor just comes out of nowhere and just is like, mmm, right in your mouth.

Sup–whoo.

I just love when a pairing comes together perfectly.

That is fire.

And if you’re going to try this Mezzacorona Rosé Dolomiti 2017 out of Italy, Vivino has it.

3.1 rating.

Average price $10.99.

It’s a good wine, but it’s very good with this pairing.

Give it a try.

Let me know what you think.
