Let’s go ahead and check out our wine.
Wandering Wines Keen 2016 Blanc De Blancs
Shout out to my friends over at the Wandering Wines.
This is a 2016 Blanc de Blancs, one of my favorites.
This is going to be Chardonnay-based out of Maule Valley, Chile, and we’re going to be pairing it with a nice snackaroo.
Let’s go ahead and check that out.
Artichoke and Gruyère Dip
Ooh, we have some deliciousness right here.
Fresh chips are the best.
We have Gruyère and artichoke dip, which I believe the Chardonnay, the varietal, the Blanc de Blancs, the sparkling Bris, high acidity wine is going to pair very nicely with the Gruyère and the cream cheese that’s in here.
Let’s go ahead and pour us a glass and try this pairing.
Before I give the pairing itself a try, I want to try this wine.
Mmm, very nice on the nose.
Perfect time for summertime.
Oh, this is going to be delicious.
Let’s give it a shot.
Hopefully I can get a big bite without getting too big a bite.
This Gruyère gets stringy.
Mmm, so good.
And just like that, we have a delicious pairing.
Now go ahead, try this, get that recipe right there.
It really didn’t take us that long.
Maybe 20 minutes to make this.
And if you’re going to get the wine, you can get it from what the Wandering Wines website.
The average price for this 2016, excuse me, this Keen 2016 Blanc de Blancs out of Maule Valley, Chile $16.99.
Go ahead, give this pairing a try.
Let me know what you think.
And until our next video, take care.
