Video Transcription

Howdy, wine drinker.

I’m Jacob from I Want You to Drink More Wine.

Today, I’m going to share an honest wine review and suggest a pairing that complements this wine.

Today we’re going to be pairing something sparkling and something delicious, simple, and a snackaroo.

Let’s go ahead and check out our wine.

Heidsieck & Co Champagne Rosé Top

As you can see here, I have a Heidsieck and Company Brut Rose Top.

This is going to be French champagne.

I love it.

I don’t know if you’ve had it before, but this stuff is delicious.

Let’s go ahead and check out our pairing.

Caramelized Maui Onion Dip

We have here–I’m going to do my best so that you could see it.

It’s pretty thick, so it shouldn’t slide.

This is a caramelized Maui onion dip.

And I can’t–mm!

When Katie was cooking this, caramelizing the onions yesterday, it smelled so delicious.

Let’s go ahead and pour us a glass of champagne and take a bite, and see how this pairing is.

Now, make sure we keep that cage on–no accidents here.

I’m going to twist the bottle.

It’s a little difficult doing this with my arms raised so that I can get it on the camera for ya.

There we go–perfecto.

Look at those bubbles.

I don’t know if you could see that.

Let me go ahead and pour us a glass.

Oh, yes.

Oh, that’s delicious.

Champagne goes with everything, in my opinion.

Let’s have some of this dip.

You know I like onions–so tasty.

Easy, no brainer–don’t even need to say anything else about this–you should definitely try it.

Get the caramelized Maui onion dip recipe right up here.

And if you’re going to get this wine, Vivino–$48.97 is the average price.

And there’s several buying options for ya.

You have to try it.

Let me know what you think.

And until our next video, take care.

Be a better wine drinker.
