Howdy, wine drinker.
I’m Jacob from I Want You to Drink More Wine.
Today I’m going to share an honest wine review and suggest a pairing that complements this wine perfectly.
Let’s go ahead and check out our wine.
Château Ducasse Bordeaux Blanc 2015
Today we have a white Bordeaux, a French white Bordeaux, 2015, or also known as a Bordeaux Blanc.
This is going to be out of France.
Now the reason I chose this wine is the pairing, obviously, but I haven’t had too many white Bordeaux, and when I saw that this was a good option, you know after going through the pairing that I’m going to show you, I said you know what, I haven’t had one of these in a while.
The other possible pairings that I wanted to do wasn’t too excited about.
So let’s go ahead and check out our pairing and see what it’s like.
Baked Buffalo Sauce Chicken Wings
So I don’t know about you, but I love Buffalo chicken wings.
They’re messy, but delicious.
Mm, mm, mm.
I’m on this new kick where I have a beard, so eating food becomes a little difficult.
There is one benefit though.
I always have leftovers for later.
Let me go ahead and take a sip of this wine now.
OK, so I jumped right into this pairing because I was super excited about the Buffalo wings, and I didn’t even try the wine before.
But this is good.
It’s going to have lower alcohol, 12 percent, so you’re not going to really have that burning, but you’re going to have that flavor of the Buffalo wings.
If you’re going to try these Buffalo wings go ahead and get the pairing right here.
And if you’re going to try this wine, Vivino actually has it highly rated at 3.9 out of their five star rating, which is, I would say, it’s fairly good for a $16.49 average price.
Now as far as buying options, I see a couple.
The Wine Buyer, the Wine Merchant North Carolina has it.
But average price, $16.49.
Buffalo chicken wings, you can’t beat it.
Go ahead, give it a try, let me know what you think.
And until our next video, take care.
